I’m a native New Yorker, who has been living in the Atlanta area with my husband and dogs for more than a decade. I spent my previous career in marketing.
Fitness has always been a part of my life-volleyball, dance, weight training, and martial arts-so it was quite a blow when I was sidelined by debilitating pain from a ruptured disk in my spine. After a successful surgery, I pulled a muscle and was bedridden for three months. Over that time my body became extremely deconditioned. It wasn’t until I was able to go to physical therapy that I started to get some relief from the pain. But, for anyone who has gone through physical therapy, we often don’t have enough sessions. Now what? You must continue with your exercises to continue to return to normal function.
This is why I decided to become a personal trainer—to help people regain the ability to do activities of daily living, lose weight, get strong, and live a balanced life. I understand what excruciating pain feels like and the fear of hurting yourself with the slightest movement. But, whatever your condition, inactivity is not an option.
Whether you’re relatively healthy and just want to lose weight and get fit, or if you have prior injuries or chronic conditions, let me help you to get moving!
